The focus is on making meaningful connections
using verbal and nonverbal strategies that build trust
and friendships through perspective-taking strategies.

Social Communication & Myo Groups

There are various high-quality social communication groups that are led by Luna, an experienced and skilled speech-language pathologist who has created social groups for 20 years.

Small, personalized groups meet in a natural, relaxed setting, such a backyard or community park. There are often siblings and peers who participate to support the group, as well as youth assistants. There are various groups for clients receiving myofunctional therapy and even “Open Myo Gyms” to drop in and practice with different peers.

Groups vary by needs, such as:
The Girls Group
The Ninja Boys
Tweens Tuning In
Recess Boot Camp
Little Spittles & Motor Mouth Myo Groups
Breathing for Athletes
(M.S. & H.S students)
